ANALAYSIS OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF REPETITION IN TRANSLATION
Abstract
The translation is received differently by linguists, methodologists and teachers. Its use in foreign language teaching causes many disagreements and criticisms. The main reason for this is that over the years there have been a number of studies that have either endorsed or dismissed the use of translation as a learning method. Translation was considered ineffective, unreliable and irrelevant. Significant limitations have led to the view that the use of translation in language learning should be avoided.
