NAVIGATING LEGAL LIABILITY IN THE AGE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) has permeated various aspects of modern society, revolutionizing industries, enhancing efficiency, and transforming decision-making processes. However, the widespread adoption of AI technologies raises complex legal and ethical questions, particularly concerning liability and accountability for AI-generated outcomes. In this article, we explore the intricate intersection of AI and legal liability, examining the challenges, implications, and potential pathways forward. We discuss the evolving landscape of AI regulation, the attribution of responsibility in AI systems, and the role of stakeholders in mitigating legal risks. Furthermore, we analyze recent case studies and legal precedents to illustrate the practical implications of AI-related liability issues. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and implementing robust frameworks for accountability, transparency, and ethical AI development, we can navigate the legal complexities of AI and foster responsible innovation in the digital age.
