Abstract

In the contemporary digital age, protecting intellectual property rights has become increasingly challenging. One crucial aspect of safeguarding creators' rights lies in the functioning of Collective Management Organizations (CMOs) of copyright. These organizations play a pivotal role in managing and enforcing copyright licenses, facilitating fair compensation for creators, and fostering innovation and creativity. This article delves into the importance of CMOs in maintaining the integrity of copyright systems, exploring their functions, challenges, and the broader implications for fostering a sustainable creative economy.
