INTEGRATIVE PERSPECTIVES ON CHRONIC INFLAMMATORY DISORDERS IN MODERN MEDICINE
Abstract
Chronic inflammatory disorders represent a significant and growing burden on global health systems. Conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, asthma, and metabolic syndrome share common inflammatory pathways despite their diverse clinical manifestations. This review article explores the underlying mechanisms of chronic inflammation, genetic and environmental risk factors, diagnostic challenges, and contemporary therapeutic strategies. Emphasis is placed on an integrative medical approach that combines pharmacological treatment, lifestyle modification, and emerging biomedical technologies.
