Abstract

The article analyzes the role of modern schools in the social and spiritual life of Turkestan, the unrivaled contribution of Mahmudkhodzha Behbudi to their formation and development. The book also examines the spread of the ideas of the Enlightenment in society and the changes that occurred in people's minds thanks to the new type of schools.
