THE ANALYSIS OF A BRIDGE BETWEEN CULTURES OF ALEKSANDR ARKADYEVICH FAYNBERG
Abstract
Aleksandr Arkadyevich Faynberg (1939–2009) was a distinguished Russian poet, translator, and screenwriter whose creative legacy is closely associated with Uzbekistan. His work reflects a synthesis of Eastern and Western literary traditions, as well as national and universal human values. This essay examines Faynberg’s life, poetic worldview, translation activities, and contributions to cinema, highlighting his role in strengthening intercultural dialogue and enriching Uzbek and Russian literary relations.
