Abstract

“Analysis of educational dictionary development trends” is a broad topic, and there are numerous articles available that address this issue from different perspectives. However, an annotation can be provided for an article that analyzes trends in educational dictionary development. The authors conducted a systematic review of 25 studies that were published between 1984 and 2021. The studies were selected based on specific criteria, including their focus on vocabulary development in early childhood education, the use of a control group, and the inclusion of an assessment of vocabulary knowledge. The authors recommend a multifaceted approach to vocabulary instruction that includes both explicit and implicit strategies, as well as technology-based interventions. This article provides valuable insights into the current trends in educational vocabulary development in early childhood education.

Keywords: vocabulary development, childhood education, systematic review, instructional strategies, technology-based interventions.
