IMPORTANCE OF NEW METHODS IN LANGUAGE TEACHING TO ADULTS
Abstract
Language learning provides opportunities for older people to engage in social interactions and connect with others. Language learning has been shown to have positive effects on brain health and can potentially delay cognitive decline in older adults. Communication skills should be developed by encouraging older students to express themselves through a variety of methods such as speaking, writing and non-verbal communication.
