Abstract

This article examines the importance of smart study techniques in improving academic performance and learning efficiency. In modern education, students are often challenged by heavy workloads and limited time, making traditional study methods less effective. The article highlights evidence-based strategies such as active learning, spaced repetition, retrieval practice, effective time management, and metacognitive reflection. These techniques help students enhance comprehension, improve long-term memory retention, and reduce academic stress. The findings emphasize that adopting smart study techniques enables learners to study more efficiently, achieve better outcomes, and develop lifelong learning skills
