Abstract

 

This article explores the crucial role of time management in students’ academic success and overall personal development in higher education. It analyzes time management as a key component of self-regulated learning, emphasizing its influence on academic performance, stress reduction, motivation, self-discipline, and long-term professional readiness. Drawing on established theoretical models and empirical research, the study demonstrates that effective planning, prioritization, and control of time enable students to achieve higher academic outcomes, reduce procrastination, and maintain psychological well-being. The article also highlights time management as an essential life and professional skill that prepares students for future workplace demands. The study concludes that integrating time management training into educational curricula and encouraging students to practice self-monitoring strategies can significantly enhance both academic and lifelong success.
