ONLINE LEARNING AND TRADITIONAL LEARNING IN A COMPARATIVE STUDY
Abstract
he rapid development of modern technology has brought significant changes to many areas of life, including education. One of the most important changes is the growing use of online learning as an alternative to traditional classroom-based education. This study aims to compare online learning and traditional learning by focusing on key aspects such as accessibility, interaction, learning effectiveness, student motivation, and flexibility. The article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of both learning modes and discusses their impact on students’ academic performance. Based on previous research and general observations, the findings indicate that online learning provides greater flexibility and wider access to education, while traditional learning offers stronger face-to-face interaction, better classroom discipline, and immediate feedback. The study concludes that neither method is completely superior on its own, and a blended learning approach that combines both online and traditional learning may be the most effective solution for modern education systems.
