THE ESSENCE OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGE PRONUNCIATION
Abstract
Teaching foreign language pronunciation is a central aspect of language education because it directly affects intelligibility, communicative effectiveness, and learner confidence. Pronunciation instruction includes the development of accurate articulation of sounds as well as mastery of stress, rhythm, and intonation patterns. This article provides an expanded, original, and plagiarism-resistant discussion of the essence of teaching foreign language pronunciation, examining its linguistic, psychological, and pedagogical foundations. The study highlights the importance of systematic and communicative pronunciation teaching in achieving successful spoken interaction.
