CREATING COMPETENCY BASED TASKS IN GEOGRAPHY ON THE BASIS OF THE PISA APPROACH
Abstract
This article is prepared in a scientific-methodological format on the topic “Designing Competency-Based Tasks in Geography within the Framework of the PISA Approach.” The structure consists of: introduction, literature review, results and discussions, and conclusion. The text elaborates on the conceptual frameworks of PISA, taxonomy of competencies, issues of validity and reliability, stages of task design, and assessment rubrics. Furthermore, examples of geography tasks in the PISA format are also provided.
