Abstract
This article examines the Liverpool poets Adrian Henri, Roger McGough, and Brian Patten, focusing on their unique blend of poetry, pop music, and performance art. Their work, popularized through The Mersey Sound anthology, brought poetry closer to the youth, making it more accessible and engaging. The article also discusses critical reactions to their works, highlighting their impact on modern British poetry and their distinctive approach to performance.
