CLASSIFICATION PROCESSES OF GOODS ACCORDING TO THE HS CODE IN ECONOMICALLY ADVANCED COUNTRIES
Abstract
During the years of independence, the structure of Uzbekistan's customs system has undergone comprehensive reforms, with the responsibilities of customs authorities being enhanced to meet contemporary requirements. Advanced methods and state-of-the-art technical equipment have been introduced to organize customs control, facilitate customs clearance, and customs inspections. These include the classification and certification of goods based on their chemical composition. The customs practices of the European Union member states, Germany, Japan, Turkey, Spain, the Netherlands, the Russian Federation, and other developed nations have been thoroughly analyzed. As a result, a series of measures have been implemented to align Uzbekistan's customs operations with international standards.
