THE IMPORTANCE OF USING GAMES IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES TEACHING
Abstract
Games have shown great promise in enhancing learning outcomes and involving students in the educational process when included in foreign language instruction. Interactive and dynamic ways to improve language abilities, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, are offered via computer gaming techniques and game technology. These methods improve motivation, creativity, and problem-solving abilities while enhancing the effectiveness and enjoyment of the learning process. Role-playing, simulation, and digital platforms that provide customized learning experiences are ways that gaming technology may be used in language instruction. This article explores the use of games in teaching foreign languages, emphasizing the strategies and tactics of gaming technologies and their influence on promoting intercultural dialogue.
