Abstract

Translation didactics has evolved significantly over recent decades, with the increasing demand for professional translators in a globalized world. The didactics of translation refers to the teaching and learning processes aimed at developing translation competence in learners. This article explores the theoretical foundations, various approaches, and pedagogical methods used in teaching translation. Special emphasis is placed on understanding the components of translation competence, the different teaching methodologies, and the practical application of didactics in real-world settings.
